60 million years old Dinosaur embryo fossil

 Fossils of dinosaur embryos have been found in China which is over 60 million years old. Scientists discovered it in a well-preserved condition from the southern city of Ganzhou. Scientists discovered it as well-preserved condition from the southern city of Ganzhou. 

According to a report from Al-Jazeera, the dinosaur embryo looks a lot like a baby chicken in a chicken egg. The embryo has appears to be preparing to emerged from the egg shell. The dinosaur fossils belong to the toothless Theropod dinosaur or Oviraptor genus. Researchers have called it the "baby dinosaur".

"This is one of the most protected dinosaur fossils in history," said Fion Waisum Ma, a researcher at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Fion Waisum Ma and her colleagues found the baby dinosaur's head as hunchback state. Dinosaur ancestors breeding process have similarities with the breeding process of today's birds, said Fion Waisum Ma. The dinosaur baby was at high risk of dying after failing to hatch from the egg, she said. The rescued embryo is believed to have been in a similar situation.

The hunchback process of breeding is similar to the crocodile hatching. The baby crocodile sits with its head on its chest until the baby hatches. 

The baby dinosaur found in China is about 26 cm long from head to toe. Which is contained in a large egg at the Yangliang Stone Nature History Museum in China. Researchers believe that the dinosaur's egg was buried in the mud. Due to the landslide, the egg was buried in the ground. The embryo did not get a chance to hatch from the egg.

As an adult, dinosaurs can grow up to 2 to 3 meters (6 and a half to 9.6 feet) in length. And it was probably herbivorous.
